Shiloh Fish house has been family owned and operated for 40 years. It was established in 1965 by Ralph and Geraldine Watson. The building which was an old grocery store in the Shiloh Community was turned into a "fish camp" style restaurant. They served baskets of homemade hushpuppies, french fries and cole slaw with platters of fried fish. It was the first Restaurant of its kind in Chesterfield County. As time passed and the business grew, the Watsons began to introduce more seafood to the menu. After a few years, the business evolved from a "fish camp" into a family style seafood restaurant. Eleven years passed and the Watsons sold Shiloh Fish House to their daughter, Johnnie, who is the current owner. Seafood is still trucked in each week from the coast like it has been for over 40 years. Few changes have been made in the menu throughout the years, in support of the belief that a limited menu ensures that all items are kept fresh and consistent. The goal is to serve good food at a fair price in a family atmosphere.
